Jodie Werder
Leadership & Executive Coach
In the depth of the coldest winters, trees sit bare and plants are dormant. Amidst the bleakness of this landscape there is a plant that refuses to retreat, refuses to hide, and refuses to retract. This plant is the WinterBerry, and not only does it survive these harsh conditions, it THRIVES in spite of them.
For many leaders, the idea of thriving in conditions of social, political, economic, and environmental uncertainty, can seem out of reach. A professional coaching partnership can offer an individual a dedicated space to pause, and step back from the relentless pursuit of performance. Through a process of unearthing and exploring an individual’s unique context, perspectives, strengths and challenges, a more conscious approach to leadership can emerge – and with it, an opportunity to thrive, in spite of uncertainty.
About Jodie Werder
With over 25 years of business experience gained locally and internationally, and expert knowledge in leadership, talent management and organisational development, Jodie has worked with and coached executives and their teams across a range of sectors including professional and financial services, engineering and project management, technology, aviation, private investment and government. Jodie has built and led high performing teams across a range of disciplines and partnered with executives and business leaders striving to enhance team engagement and performance against a backdrop of complex business and culture change agendas.
As a Leadership coach, Jodie sees the immense opportunity for organisations who equip their leaders to deliver an exceptional and inclusive experience of leadership. Not only as a powerful differentiator in today’s competitive talent market, but as a means to create a positive impact well beyond their organisations.
Jodie Werder
ADHD Coach & Consultant
In the depth of the coldest winters, trees sit bare and plants are dormant. Amidst the bleakness of this landscape there is a plant that refuses to retreat, refuses to hide, and refuses to retract. This plant is the WinterBerry, and not only does it survive these harsh conditions, it THRIVES in spite of them.
Through her lived experience of knowing and working with individuals with ADHD, Jodie is reminded of the Winterberry’s resilience – and inspired by the life force of those striving to live well amidst the often-harsh conditions of a world that may not understand ADHD. In contrast to its many challenges, Jodie sees the potential for ADHD to be unique asset – given the right conditions and an awareness of how to work with ADHD, and not against it.
About Jodie Werder
Jodie’s passion for coaching was borne from her experience of collaborating with leaders and professionals at all levels, across a 25-year corporate career, bearing witness to their efforts to develop enhanced self-awareness and improve their personal and professional effectiveness.
More recently, Jodie has developed a special interest in ADHD Coaching, seeing first hand how an understanding of ADHD can empower a person to appreciate their unique strengths, in spite of the challenges that ADHD can present in work, life and relationships. Through her corporate experience, Jodie also sees the potential in embracing neurodivergent thinking in organisations – where natural ADHD strengths such as curiosity, creativity, empathy, big picture thinking and problem solving, can offer a powerful advantage.
